Actor Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar has delivered a baby girl at the Swapna Nursing Home in Hyderabad at 8.15 am today (Friday, July 20). According to hospital sources, both mother and her daughter are healthy and they are doing fine. Sources reveal that Prince is all excited to welcome the princess.

It was reported earlier this year, during the release of Mahesh Babu's Businessman that Namrata Shirodkar was pregnant with her second baby. It was also rumoured that she would give birth to the baby in May or June. Although Mahesh Babu was all excited, had never opened up on it.

There is a celebratory mood in Mahesh’s family. Gautam, born in 2006, will now have a pretty little sister.

Interestingly, Mahesh, Gautam and now the little girl are all born in the same Simha Raasi. This is said to be very auspicious.

Mahesh was very close to his mother and now with the girl’s birth, family members of Mahesh Babu have informed that Mahesh is elated and and have commented that his mother is now reborn again in the family.

"Namrata is still in the hospital and she will get discharged from the hospital within a couple of days." But sources declined to reveal whether she had a normal delivery or cesarean.

Mahesh Babu got married to the Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar in February, 2005 in Mumbai after dating for five years. They starred together in the movie Vamsi in 2000 and the movie became big hit at the Box Office.
