At the audio launch of the Balakrishna-starrer, Srimannarayana, it was not the actor who stole all the limelight, but his son Mokshagna. The star son's rare public appearance only fuelled speculation about Mokshagna making his filmi debut soon.

The affair had a number of Balayya fans from all over AP in attendance. A source said, "This is the first time that Balakrishna has brought his son along for a filmi function. Balayya had already sent out feelers that he wants to introduce his son to films before he joins active politics. And with the actor announcing that he is all set to contest in the next Assembly elections, word is that he wants his son to make his movie debut soon. And this appearance was his way of introducing everyone to his son. Balakrishna is planning to send Mokshagna abroad to train him in acting."
