TDP president Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu today reiterated that the TDP will launch uncompromising battle against Vanpic project till the lands are returned to farmers and all clandestine GOs and agreements are cancelled.

Sri Naidu was leading a padayatra of displaced farmers and party workers from Nizampatnam demanding the Kiran Government to act  immediately and resume the lands after arrest of Nimmagadda Prasad and Minister  Mopidevi Venkataramana involved in the multi crore and mega scam, described  the mother of all scams in the country.

TDP president took exception to closure of all shops in the small Nizampatnam town thereby posing even drinking water problems to all the agitators and said the TDP will stand with farmers, fishermen,rural artisans and labor who lost livelihood for last four years and also did not get proper compensation.

It is a clear case of deception of rural poor and farmers in name of development' he said adding that most of congress leaders involved in the Vanpic con game have prospered. Demanding cancellation of the agreement the TDP president asserted that no international agreements came in the way Vanpic cancellation.

Sri Naidu said all those who migrated from TDP will remain characterless in history and the party was ready to face elections any moment as Jagan effect has not touched the party at all. He said the party will strive to achieve consensus on issues like ABC classification and Telengana.

The YSR Government had granted 28000 acres to Vanpic project and also waived the 'transfer' clause in the BOT agreement to benefit the project in which industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad of Matrix fame had major stake along with Dubai based RAK group and Navayuga group.  It promised 64,000 direct jobs and 5 lakh indirect jobs but farmers were not given even fair price for their land and Prasad had  diverted the funds to Jagans companies.

Prasad is in jail for doling out  Rs.805 crore to Jagan group of companies as a quid pro quo deal for all thecompanies which were favoured with land grants in SEZ's besides Vanpic land grants during the YSR regime.
