The only headlines Samantha seems to be making these days is for walking out of one plum South project after another citing health reasons. And the much-hyped Ram Charan-starrer Yevadu might just be added to the long list.
According to a source close to the film unit, producer Dil Raju is planning to replace Samantha in his film. "The film's schedule has already started a couple of days ago in the city without Samantha. The actress is yet to make a comeback on the sets of all her pending movies. And when she is back, she might have to prioritise the shooting of other films before she joins our sets. So, Dil Raju has decided it's best to replace her." Despite efforts to reach him, Dil Raju remained unavailable for comment.

Samantha, who has had a dream run with hit movies like Ye Maya Chesave, Brindavanam, Dookudu and the latest Eega, had more than half a dozen films on floors, before she disappeared a couple of months ago, citing a mysterious illness. While she has returned the signing amount to Mani Ratnam and Shankar, many producers are eagerly waiting her comeback as she had already shot for major portions of the movie before her 'medical' break and cannot be replaced at this juncture.

In fact, we hear the makers of Autonagar Surya made a few changes to the script and completed the shooting of the film without her.
We can only hope T-town's 'lucky charm' decides to come out of hiding and give us the true story!
