TDP president Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu today said today that VANPIC project was a best example of rampant abuse of office during the YSR regime and unbridled corruption that was practiced  by all.

Addressing a press conference at NTR Bhavan the TDP president revealed that  while the cabinet approved  sanction of only 4000 acres to Vanpic project, GOs were issued for 28,000 acres and also dropped the clause of ' tranfer' in the BOT agreement.

He said the farmers were also duped  by buying land at low rates of Rs.60,000 to Rs. One lakh while theyw ere sold to the investor at Rs.3 lakhs per acre ( or shown in books at least ) and cheated the farmers of  over Rs.300 crore which went to whom  is yet to be disclosed.

He narrated instances as to how farmers had become labor and migrated and also how poor were threatened and coerced to sell their livelihood sources

In the same breath he said during the TDP regime the government gave to IT development which in turn gave 1000 jobs for every 1 acres  and also triggered the land values  by 100 times or even 300 times . ' An acre of land in high tech city is today Rs.30 crore ' he said.

SriNaidu said investors in Vanpic put in hardly Rs.250 crore  and aimed to hit the stock market with speculation and make at least Rs.30,000 crore . They used government machinery to  ban  land sales to any one else  but the project hed said demanding that Government withdraw that order, return lands to poor farmers, build homes for them and help them to revive their livelihoods.

He said  both YSRC and  Congress were twin branches  or twin off springs of  corruption  and that the CM was scared to even give warn the erring ministers in his team .Worst aspect is that the Government it providing legal assistance to all the  tainted minsiters and IAS men who abetted  crime with  YSR.

Condemning the arrest of TDP MLA for supporting the agitators against thermal plant patronized by the  minister Dharmana Prasad Rao  he said Kiran Govt arrested fishermen in Visakhapatnam NTPC zone for demanding jobs . SC?ST case has been hoisted on PIduguralla MLA Y Srinivas  for questioning the Govt.

Sri Naidu said the \TDP will fight relentlessly for full implementation of Tuition fee reimbursement scheme and also justice for  todays hooch liquor tragedy victims of Toofran mandal in Medak district
