TDP president Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu said today that India would soon become a super power both economically and also defense wise.

Participating in the 66th independence day celebrations at NTR bhavan Sri Naidu hoisted the national flag Sri Naidu  greeted people of state and also Telegus abroad a Happy independence day celebrations and wished them prosperity, health and good speed in service to nation.

He said AP had contributed an unending list of freedom fighters- B.Pattabhiseetharamayya, A.Kaleswar Rao, Duggirala Gopalakrishnaiah, K.Veereshalingam, Konda Venkatppayya, Tangaturi Prakasham Pantulu, Smt Durgabhai Deshmukh, Swami Ramananda Thirtha and B.Ramakrishna Rao.

Sri Naidu said that as per the transparency international report India was ranked 95th among the 183 corrupt nations in the country.

He witnessed the cultural activities performed by the students of Queens International school. TDP leaders Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Varla Ramaiah, M.Narasimhulu, M.Gopinath , Aravindkumar Gowd, TD Janardhan , VVV Chowdhary particiapted in the event.
