Actor Ajay is all set to make his Bollywood debut soon. It's no ordinary debut, as he's going to be sharing the screen with the Baadshah of Bollywood — Shah Rukh Khan. Sources close to the actor say that he will be playing the villain in the SRK-Deepika Padukone starrer, Chennai Express, to be directed by Rohit Shetty.
The film is about a man (SRK) who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey forms the crux of the movie. Interestingly, this is for the first time that Rohit is working without his close friend Ajay Devgn, with whom he has done eight films.
It is learnt that Ajay wasn't the first choice for the movie. The filmmaker first approached Tamil actor Arya to star in the movie, but he decided to opt out of the film. Rohit happened to see Ajay's performance in Ravi Teja's Vikramarkudu and was super impressed.

It has been a great year for Ajay, having won accolades in successful films like Ishq and Gabbar Sigh. The actor is currently in Bangkok shooting for NTR-starrer Baadshah.
